Test Realm: Three Point Oh Point Eight

A lot is going down in 3.0.8 or the big THREEPOINTOHPOINTEIGHT as I like to refer to it sometimes. What do you think is going down in 3.0.8? How about some changes to the game?

First of all consider everything class wise something will be changed, SOMETHING will be changed. Some things to note right off the bat is the Priests, yes you god loving hippies will be getting some changes too, like Vampiric Embrace costs “0″ mana, like zilch, nada, nothing! Oh, and Shadowform can be cast even while sitting down, man, Blizzard sure does love us.

You can check out more about the classes at the end of this post because of course it would be majorly redundant to quote it all, wasting you valuable time.

Some random things to take note –

  • Fury:Titan’s Grip: The hit chance penalty has been removed. (Warrior)
  • All flasks no longer require an alchemy lab to create. (Alchemy)
  • Slow Fall is now castable on others. (Mage)
  • Aspect of the Wild – This aspect is now raid-wide. (Hunter)
  • Growl: Range increased to 30 yards. (Druid)
  • Bone Shield: The mitigation has been reduced from 40% to 20%. (Death Knight)
  • Divine Protection: The penalty has been removed. (Paladin)
  • Holy: Circle of Healing now has a 6 second cooldown. (Priest)
  • Feint: Rank 8 now reduces the damage taken from area of effect attacks by 50% for 6 seconds. (Rogue)
  • Fire Nova Totem: Now no longer generates threat. (Shaman)
  • Emberstorm: Now works with Conflagrate. (Warlock)

So Mage’s can cast Slow Fall on others now, this does seem like a cool new addition to a Mage’s shine but how would you use that on day to day basis? Are you telling me that you have the reaction speed in a raid right before a raid member jumps off to give him Slow Fall before he plummetts to his doom? I really do not think so but its cool.

Overall this will be a great patch but like normal nothing ground breaking will be added, just normal little tweaks from Blizzard but hey, this keeps the hype going right? Check out the rest of the patch notes from World of Warcraft themselves.
